SSL Gold MINI Cup –  Model sailing competition in the pool of the Budapest Boat Show Program Island

Did you know that the Shamans, led by Zsombor Berecz, won the first SSL Gold Cup regatta and the World Team Championship title? But you may not have heard that the Budapest Boat Show is the perfect place to experience the SSL Gold Cup sailing race – in miniature, of course.

• free training dates:
  • every day between 11.00-11.30
• qualifiers:
  • 20 February. Thursday 14.00 – 15.00
  • 21 February. Friday     14.00 – 15.00
  • 22 February. Saturday   14.00 – 15.00
• final:
  • 23 February. Sunday 14.00-15.00
• awards ceremony:
  • 23 February. Sunday 15.00-15.30

What you need to know about the competition:

• boats – Procelero remote control model sailboats (gold one design barges)
• races – UP&DOWN course, qualifying and final
• venue – Budapest Boat Show Program Island Pool
• weather forecast – depending on the wind machine setup of the Catamaran School 
• prizes – in all rounds and in the final
• contributors – students of the Catamaran School 
• broadcast – on-line on the Budapest Boat Show professional stage projector and on stream interface
